Parts for 2 High Power Lasers

Parts for two high power research lasers. Many of these parts are listed on a specification sheet titled 1 KW Laser (PDF above). Listed parts include the chamber, end walls, and bottom plate which already has electrode rails mounted and the Alumina Ceramics wedges to line the plasma chamber walls. This lot has two chamber bodies, three very large pieces of Alumina Ceramic, a rail kit, a couple of polycarbonate end walls, and two aluminum end walls. This is not a complete kit for either laser, but is valued at over $15,000 in parts for a very good start at building a 1 KW laser valued between $40,000 - $50,000.

16-13/16"L x 3" sq. chamber with clamp on end wall, stud mounts and top cap. Inner chamber dimensions are 2-1/4" sq. x 16-13/16". Includes five piece inner rail kit (aluminum - see

Three 1/2" diameter total reflector mirror mounts and two 1/2" diameter total reflector mirror mounts on one wall and one 1" diameter output coupler mirror mount on the other wall. This makes a six pass laser path through the plasma discharge region. No mirrors or Alumina ceramics included.

Q Source Research Laser

16-7/8"L x 3"W x 4"H chamber with 3-1/2" valve attached to side. This chamber has two large pieces of Alumina Ceramic with matching grooves which were then refilled with ceramic. It appears to be a failed experiment which needs to be reconfigured as a wide discharge area laser. Four end walls and an extra top cap are included (each set of end walls results in two different discharge regions, depending on how you reconfigure). End walls accept (LZR) ENDCAP-A through (LZR) ENDCAP-J - sold separately.

This fully assembled wide discharge area laser has had its end caps removed - thus it is priced accordingly. You will need to add your choice of (LZR) ENDCAP-A through (LZR) ENDCAP-J to make it complete. 1/4" vacuum stem and valve is already attached. Alumina ceramic surrounds the 3/4"W x 1/8"H x 16.8"L plasma discharge region. Overall dimensions 18-1/2"L x 3"W x 3"H.

Similar to (LZR) RLPK1900, this laser assembly has a wider plasma discharge region at 1.2"W x 0.14"H x 16.8"L. Alumina ceramic surrounded. Discharge is from top electrode to side walls. 19-3/8"L x 3"W x 4"H overall; vacuum chamber is 3" x 3" outer dimension and 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 19-3/8"L. Inside there is a 14.85" long alumina ceramic tunnel defining the discharge area which is currently 24mm x 15mm. Above the alumina is a block of plastic insulation which shields the upper electrode (embedded in the alumina) from the body of the chamber which will be electrically connected to the bottom electrode. Currently there is a wedged aluminum bar holding the inner assembly together. There is another aluminum bar with a peak in the center which has not been completely milled. The bottom platform needs to be shaved to a dimension to fit tightly in to the chamber. The peak needs to be rounded off on all top edges to form the bottom electrode. A set of end walls are included and ready for mirror end caps - (LZR) ENDCAP-A through (LZR) ENDCAP-J - not included. Aluminum.

26"L x 5"DIA laser chamber includes two round end walls with mirror mounts to accommodate 1.5"DIA mirrors. Screw on mirror mount caps. All aluminum chamber parts. Inside chamber has an alumina ceramic top and side walls piece to form the plasma chamber. There is a large block of insulating plastic, electrode feed through and a large bottom wedge.
