Product Description

Parts for two high power research lasers. Many of these parts are listed on a specification sheet titled 1 KW Laser (PDF below). Listed parts include the chamber, end walls, and bottom plate which already has electrode rails mounted and the Alumina Ceramics wedges to line the plasma chamber walls. This lot has two chamber bodies, three very large pieces of Alumina Ceramic, a rail kit, a couple of polycarbonate end walls, and two aluminum end walls. This is not a complete kit for either laser, but is valued at over $15,000 in parts for a very good start at building a 1 KW laser valued between $40,000 - $50,000.

    2 Chamber Bodies
  • 37"L x 6-3/4"W x 4-1/2"H
  • 33-3/4"L x 6-3/4"W x 4"H
3 Large Pieces of Alumina Ceramic - cost $6,000 alone to manufacture in 1998
  • 36.875"L x 5.25"W x 1" *
  • 36.875"L x 5.25"W x 1"H bottom piece
  • 36.875"L x 5.25"W x 0.25"H filler piece

  • * has all 11 feed through holes on the top and slits for the electrode rails, similar to LZR-RAIL12A, although we do not have these specific 35.3"L rails, nor do we have the Alumina and brass feed throughs
    Laser Chamber Rail Kit
  • 36" long (bottom and two sides) which act as the second electrode as well as hold the Alumina Ceramic to form the plasma discharge area
    End Walls
  • Polycarbonate end walls
  • 2 aluminum end walls; one with 2 laser mounts and total reflector mirrors mounted
