A "Vacuum Fixed (Trimmable) Capacitor" combines the benefits of a robust vacuum capacitor with the precision of a trimmer, enabling fine-tuning in high-power RF systems.
A fixed Vacuum capacitor means the capacitance value is set and cannot be changed, as opposed to variable capacitors. The dielectric is the insulating material between the capacitor's plates. In a vacuum capacitor, this insulating material is a high vacuum. This provides very high voltage withstanding capabilities.
Some applications that may use this capacitor are: Radio transmitters, induction heating equipment, semiconductor equipment, or other industrial equipment.
